Hmong Leader - General Vang Pao

This video is dedicated to GVP, our Hmong leader and hero, who passed away on Jan 6 2011. When I heard the news, I was sad. I felt like he was my second dad and now he is no more. I think GVP must of been very sad that he wasn't able to get back Laos. Not will the older generation be sad b/c we couldn't get Laos back, but GVP die, leaving all his people/children behind to suffer alone. But even when GVP is still alive, many hmong people betrayed him/ hurt him, so now he can finally be at peace. GVP suffering just ended, but the cruel Hmong people now begin. Without GVP to lead the hmong people, it is now that the term "IF HMONG PEOPLE DON'T LOVE HMONG PEOPLE, WHO WILL LOVE HMONG??" come to test!!!! GVP left all of his wise words to all his children around the world, so please everyone, listen his words of wisdom and stick together!

@ATEAMF0RUM OMG that was horrible. What that user said is not right, how could she/he talk like that to a person who just passed away and not to mention our leader. Those people have no right at all, shame on them. I flag it!!! and wish everyone does it too. And no Cecilia, it's not bad of you at all, if they think that they got the right to say hateful things to GVP, we got the right to say about back at them!!! Those egg head need to get a life.

Only General Vang Pao...who was the greatest hero ever ever and ever and took us to USA....without him no one....else. could.... though he gone free and peacefully....but his spirit is still up there in the heaven to watch our hmong people...we all will be missed you.....

@ATEAMF0RUM I hope your dad is fine. At least he'll be able to see GVP for the last time, but my dad is in wheelchair, though can/'t go. But you're right, we as the younger generation should support the older. Best of luck to every Hmong families throughout the world, stay strong, and love each other! That is the only way we'll get through life now!

I understand why you did what you did. I think it's the stupidest thing for hmong people to turn back on hmong people. Like pangia said, "IF Hmong don't help Hmong, who will?"

There are many people who have betrayed him, but he dearly put that aside because he knows that we are all Hmong and that if we don't love and help each other, no one will.

I will miss him dearly. Though I don't know him personally, I hope all Hmong people will learn from this.
