MCN Roadtest: Harley Davidson XR1200 group test

Harley-Davidsons XR1200R challenges the best European retro roadsters available in Ducati's GT1000 and Moto Guzzi's 8v 1200 Griso in our video road test.

MCN road tester Adam Child took the motorcycles on a european adventure to the Bikes Classics Festival in Spa, Belgium to see legends such as Agostini and John Surtees compete.

@jake011386 it depends on how much of a beginner you are. if you've never ridden a motorcycle, no. learn on a 250 you'll have more fun and won't drop the bike 10 times. if you take a motorcycle class on 250's or can ride a friends 250cc sport bike or 600-750cc cruiser and feel comfortable with the clutch( never stall the bike off a red light) and the braking (even in emergencies) then yes. it depends on you! if you feel comfortable riding a motorcycle in any situation then yes.
