Remember the Disney movie Dick Tracy back in 1990. I got to play the Character of Mumbles at Disneyland. Talk about a FUN job.. This was it ! I got to hang out with Dick Tracy,FlatTop,Big Boy Caprice... Breathless Mahoney and The Saxophone Quintet among Others ! This Unit could be found over by 'It's a Small World' & 'The Videopolus Stage'. It was a BLAST !

  • @dirkthevent awesome! :D Looks like it was fun!

  • @JKSpiero I hear Warren Beatty is trying but keeps running into legal issues with the character

  • Yeah. Loved the stage show at Disney-MGM in Orlando. Never caught this side act, though. Californians lucked out here. The movie had great makeup, costumes, music & art direction (6-color primary palette, like the comic strip on Sundays) but what really killed it IMHO was the total absence of screen chemistry between Warren Beatty & Madonna. Just another Bonnie & Clyde with a bigger budget. Sad it killed all further Tracy merchandise for the last 20 years. Tracy deserves a reboot.

  • I remember this! I use to hang out in the area since the area opened. Me and my D'land companion Chris often meet you guys and relax as the musicians perform. WHAT MEMORIES!!!!!-Robert (former D'land annual passholder and Character Groupie) p.s. you might recognize me as the one who serenade the characters with Beatles songs.
