Hearing this song makes me wonder why there aren't any sports teams called The Aardvarks!

Answer, aardvarks arent awe-inspiring like a lion or dolphin or utahraptor. Most of those teams are named after ferocious notorious animals.

The aardvark is the mascot of UC Irvine, so if you go to UC Irvine you are an aardvark.
