L333 Spectre 36'

L333 Spectre 36' Cat with two Blown, big block Chevy 502's that were blue anodized. Wouldn't idle very well, but man when you hit the throttles those blowers on those Chevys came alive! It liked cruising at 105mph. People didn't, but the boat floated along in 2' chop like nothing there, with a Top Speed of 117mph

The Spectre ate six Bravo I's, then the set in this race was flawless for a year or two with the new owner...

I drove the Spectre from Marco Island to the Galleon Marina in Key West in 1hr and 9mins... and a tank of gas. with my brother Jeff holding a hand held Garmin GPS that we had to slow down for to sync with the SATS... and Ralph in the back seat. He was deaf for three days... it was nice and quiet... ;)

Bernard Minarcin of Naples, Florida on the Throttles. And Mike Seybold was in the yellow cat, and good ole Reggie himself was driving the Fountain cat, it had about 800hp more than anyone else... Reggie had them replacing engines at midnight... this experience was the culmination of why I got into Offshore racing.
