Last time I checked, Virginia is a commonwealth, not a state.

In deed! What do you do with dead soldiers? I often ask the same question about our brave men and women in the war we're fighting in now...the fight for life, honor, dignity, union and least of all...peace through out the world!

One of the most libertarian scenes that I have ever seen in a film. Ron Paul could've written that script.

@chelliegirl If I remember correctly, Washington and Lee were part of the aristocracy of Virginia at that time.

How do you know that you don't have an accent? I've been to Virginia and I knew someone from there. To me, Virginians sound like they have an accent :-)
-
That's right. We Virginians don't have "Southern accents." Neither did Robert E. Lee and he was from the same town I was. So was George Washington who likewise did not have any accent. You watch too many inaccurate war flicks, dude.

This was good Another favourite scene I like is right after Johnson and his men are wiped out by a Union ambush. Mr. Anderson sends one son back to get blankets to cover the dead and another to get confederate soldiers to bury their dead. Then he mutters " What do you do with dead soldiers?" Good question.
