Linux will never dominate the market - why?
Because you need brains to set it up...

Yeah cause looking pretty is all its about. Man linux rocks for looking pretty! But GOD DAMN does it ever suck for doing anything but programing and hosting servers. Is there any os in the world that does games, graphics, audio and video software worse than linux? Sure you got some decent stuff for it there, but windows and mac do all of the above better. But hey, they dont look as pretty. Least you got a nifty console to run everything from and make you feel all 1980's retro kool :P

Yeah but surfing the web is sort of a given :) I was thinking more in the lines of software for recreational or productive purposes :) I never said linux don't have it's uses either, but as a main desktop operative system it's just as far off now as it was 10 years ago. I just dont see the revolution that linux people have been talking about the last 10 years. I've heard them say "in 3 years, linux is going to dominate the market" for over a decade now.

I am refering to the 3D spinning cube virtual desktop. You can see it in action in the video from 0:53 onwards. Seriously, this is really useful and I really don't think OS X has this feature yet. In fact, OS X doesn't even have virtual desktops and require 3rd party software to do this.
