What to do with Lavender | How to harvest and prepare Lavender for crafts, hobbies and presents.

Welcome to our newly established "Evergreen Valley Lavender Farm" in Olympia, Washington. We are raising over 600 plants in 11 varieties like; Folgate, Fat Spike Grosso, Hidcote Giant, Betty's Blue, Impress Purple, Melissa (white), Tucker's Early, Royal Velvet, Gros Bleu, True Munstead, Purple Bouquet and Buena Vista.

Each variety has its own unique qualities and characteristics and we love growing them organically. Although our farm is not "certified" organic, we use no pesticides nor chemicals in our process.

We also distill some of our plants into essential oils and will make that, and many other craft items, available for sale in the coming months. Watch for us to open to the public in 2012.
