Get a European one, they had really nice plasic boxes that came with it and the are "region free"

@91SHOPlus You shouldn't have given up, you should totally keep going. Your collection has inspired me to start collecting, withing about 10 minutes, I've asked about 13 people for old handhelds and whatnot. Now I curse myself for being so careless about games and handhelds when I was younger.. Granted I'm 17 so when I got my first Gameboy (Green GBC) I was probably 6.. At least I've got the Extreme Green GBP, Red GBP, and Atomic Purple GBC for now.. I'm gonna try to get some more GBC and GBP's.

@v1nchynoobs Gameboy colour games wouldn't work in the original gameboy because they were programmed to be colour and not monochrome, unlike the original gameboy games which were programmed with monochrome and colour capabilities so when the new models were to be released, you could have your favourite gameboy games in colour
