This video probably shows the flood the best out of all the ones Ive seen, thanks for posting it.

Nice job with the video. Saddly it hits very close to home. My sister lives in Owego, and I live in Pomton Lakes NJ, which suffered very similar devastation from Hurricane Irene. I really feel for everyone effected, there's no words to describe it, unless you witness such an event for yourself.

I just drove through Owego yesterday and I couldn't believe the devastation :( You never hear about these things on the national news.... My family has been through multiple floods and it's not easy. You guys have my support and are in my thoughts!

Sunday was the first time I saw or even heard of your charming little town. My heart goes out to you, your family and your neighbors. The before and after photos are humbling. Stay strong.

its terrible seeing my hometown like this. i hope everything works out. my prayers go out to all those who lost their homes...

Thanks so much for making this video. I live on the other side of the country now, but was just there last month. I'm so glad I made the trip, partly because I got to see my hometown one last time before this devastating event - I know it will never be the same after this. I'm proud of the way people are working together to help out one another, my step mom included - and she's in her 70's. Hopefully, Owego will be back on it's feet soon and be able to put all of this behind.

This breaks my heart. Best of luck to you all as you try to rebuild.

I went through the 2006 flood there and then moved away. I'm soo sad to see that this happened again! My thoughts are with every family in the Owego area and surrounding towns and villages that were hit.

Well-done. The music was well-chosen. I feel sorry for everyone involved.
But not exactly sure why you included Hallstead in a video about Owego (title of your presentation). Just commenting--not trying to be nasty
@ pumpkinboy103~ Sorry for the mis-label. The housing development in the area is called Halstead, with one "l". My apologies for the confusion. If I could edit the video without replacing everyone's comments I would. Thank you!

NOTE TO VIEWERS:
Before posting nasty comments, know that they will NOT be published. We're struggling to keep our heads clear and positive as it is. If you notice the video description you will find an explanation of why I chose the photos I did.
If you cannot raise your head to face the rain, you might as well keep it buried in the sand.
