@0:02 The narrator is as retarded. The Chatooga flows on the border of GEORGIA and SOUTH CAROLINA. The headwaters almost 100 miles away are the only part of the Chatooga in NC.

I am sorry but this guy is such an idiot. HE seems to have no experience. He could have just swam though hydro if he had acted properly. My friend has done it before and was shaken up but he was okay because he didnt panic. The dog isnt that bad, even if you are running it. And the dog is in no way the hardest. I have hit that rapid so many times and have been surfed and flipped but just roll over and dont panic. Corckscrew is a much harder rapid than both Jawbone and the dog.

There are way more than two daunting rapids ... this guy is luck he didnt die. He got sucked in hydro looks like. and sockemdog isnt to bad of a swim in the past its pretty fluffly. as of right now tho i would not run sockemdog as of fall 2009 there is a log jammed in sockemdog and if u swim u can be pinned under the log. we are waiting untill the water is low again so we can see the log and hopefully remove it so we can continue to run sockemdog..

Im a guide on the chattooga .. First thing first the river is in long creek South carolina. It is the actual physical border between the two states of south carolina and g.a.. 2nd of all this guy should have never been on section 4 of the chattooga he didnt do his reasearch . Section 4 is no joke . This occured in the 5 falls and all of them are crazy dangerous the most dangerous being crack. The 5 falls are no joke probaly the most consequencial river in the southeast. Please do ur reasearch!
