  • Hey, I thought that your addition to the bear was a good thing. When you read the instructions for the original Bear in Men's Health, it states that you start with the bar off the floor aready. but this addition only adds to the punishment. also when you push the bar over you head, you need to hold it above you head for a few seconds before lowering it down to your shoulders.

  • piece of cake! i'm doing BC with 70 kg - 10 times easy! and after that bear crawls feel like i'm resting

  • the "bear crawl" is what we call a cat crawl or quad walk. we do it in our parkour conditioning training. to make it better (harder lol) get the hips close to the floor as poss so your doing it in near enough press up postion. LOVE training like this. endurance and different rates of pressure.
