Gran turismo 3 & 4 secret! most people don't know! short ver

this video is for people starting out. just so all you people that are commenting know, i do use manual, but back when i did use auto i stumbled upon this on accident and it helps new people race better and get a better feel for what the cars will do so they can start using manuals quicker. this is a shorter version of my other video with the secret.i have known how to do this since GT3 came out. this is shown on GT3(long version shows GT4) it gives you the upper hand even if you are racing a buddy against the same car. learn to accelerate faster and get better lap times than b4! GT 3 & 4 have this secret. GT1 i know doesnt have this. GT2 not sure, youll have to try it yourself(i dont have GT2). it is easier to drift, hold R2 or L2 when in 2nd gear, going around a curve slow. the transmission will usually shift back into 1st which can make you spin out easier or is just slow. stay in 2nd gear and your tires will spin longer because your car wont shift into 3rd and get traction. also if you have a swirly car, just hold it in 2nd or 3rd around corners then when you straighten out, you can let go of R2/L2 to go to a lower gear to accelerate faster. YOU NEED TO KNOW THIS IF YOU DONT ALREADY!

@stonedraughn maybe about $25-30 i would guess. i bought mine awhile back for $40 i think. look online or on ebay for a 64MB card. even the 32M cards arent bad to have tho. if you think about it, thats like having 4 memory cards. the bigger ones are nice because most sports games take up almost a whole card so you can now have all your sports games on one card

@timmypstyle oops, not madcatz, its actually a MAX memory card. they sell the 32MB ones at walmart still i believe.

@stonedraughn i have a madcatz 64MB card. all the games and files and i still have like 30MB left. it has only messed up on 2 games. one was the punisher, it would save fine but when trying to load it said file corrupted, and on NCAA football 03 it wont load unless you load it manually from the memory card menu. also since it isnt sony, it takes about twice as long for files to save and load for games. but its a lot better than trying to remember what games are on which memory card
