Hi John.
the 4D Views system filmed the car operator, i.e. the person sitting in a normal chair wearing the head mounted display (HMD), and output that 3D image sequence to the Virtools engine which was managing the presentation.
The real-time output of the person wearing the HMD, allows us to put that person's 3D image into the simulation so that they can see themselves in the HMD.
