Hmm I heard that this is for 16" lappy's I bought a 17.5" SONY VAIO VPCEJ 2 days ago I was wondering if I can use that with this product. I don't mind if the speakers are covered up a little bit.

@noiseboom best to probably take your laptop and try it out in store. Dick Smith, JB Hi Fi & Officeworks carry our range. Then you'll know for sure. Reason being even though the screen is 17" the chassis are all different shapes and sizes. We have seen/heard people us 17" laptops but they are all so different.

this is great product...have been using it more than 8 months, and it been fantastic.

One problem i'm having is that i'm not able to disassemble it so that i can cleanup the dirt accumulated in the fan, preventing it to coll the laptop.

any idea how to disassemble it? couldn't find screws at all
