@goguletz actually, that technique can be used on most cars. you just have to brake very carefully when you turn. of course, most of the braking is done in the straight, but to shave some seconds off your times, you'll need to use it.

BTW you should check out a technique called "threshold braking" on wikipedia. there's part of it concerning turning while braking

this tip may be good on a race car, but on a standard car if you do this (entering a corner with your foot on the brake) you have many chances to oversteer, because all the weight is transfered on the front tires, nothing on the back!!
