I get a lot of requests for a home tour. Here is my Ghetto Chateau decorated on a shoestring budget from Kijiji, yard sales and Walmart! Hope you enjoy my cute little home and get some ideas and inspiration for your own home!

You have such a beautiful home! I think you said in another video of how you made your headboard, but I was wondering is it attached to the wall or the bed?

@roxannegbc I got these large picture hanging things from home depot and attached two to the back of the plywood and two to the wall. They slid down into each other...I have no idea how else to describe it. Can't lie, this took measuring and using a level...total my husbands kind of job...I would have just used big ol screws!!

@PrayingFamilyManager In the summer or right now? lol. Right now it is covered in a foot of snow. In the summer we have pretty gardens that wrap around the yard and we just made raised beds for veggies last year. We have a pretty herb garden too. I really enjoy gardening, but I am learning as I go. It is A LOT more work then I thought and I have planted and failed with many, many flowers....I've learned the hard way not to plant obedience or mint...I'm still pulling from years ago!

You did a great job on a small budget. It takes a natural talent. Your colors all match throughout and it makes everything blend from room to room. I did the same on our first 3/2 twenty five years ago. Just Lovely!

Your house LOOKS great... I really love the bedrooms... they have a cabin on the beach feel... that is the way I was going with my house until we moved 4 months ago... I agree with not spending alot of money on home decor... as I change my mind so often it would be such a waiste... I even re covered my couches... I documented the whole procedure and opened a chanel to put it on... then one of my girls erased most of the pictures... sigh... Thank you for all your wonderful tips...
