Joe Holt - Once In A While

Another post from the visit to a continuing care community health center, in Easton, Md on 1/2/08. I visit this area of the community 2x/mo, a portion of that time devoted to a group music program. My "approach" is to give the residents the same (hopefully) artistically substantive presentation that I would give anywhere else, knowing that they will "get it" (even if their expression of this is subtle, or reserved). Jazz musicians performed much of the popular music of the culture of the residents, so this expression is "within bounds".
