  • did you save the small loop of mp3 from computer then store in the kp3 SD card to do this? it looks quite a long process... but really enjoy it ^^

    Great Job man!

  • @bboyliangwe glad you enjoyed it!

No computer involved, just sampled the tunes as usual then saved the sample to the SD card to use later.

We've got vid of our new set, check it out!

  • Are any of you from Kraftwerk? Because damn, you two are talented motherf***ers!

  • @thrillerman83 hey man, thanks very much for the compliment!

you might like the vid of our new set, check it out on our profile!

  • great job.... but you really should have synced with midi to be in perfect time.... but you managed very well without

  • @KaslarProductions Cheers man.

We tried that first but it felt quite restrictive and unmusical, we wanted to be able to jam and improvise!

  • Hey good job guys. Love the samples and what you did with them. I'm going to buy one of these and was just looking for a youtube video to help convince me :).

  • Great stuff! if only the KP3 could stream samples from the card instead of having to load everything into the RAM... are you listening korg??? Keep it up guys :D

  • Hi! I want to make hip hop/funk, and i like your music. Did you make the drum patterns with the KP3? And would you recommend me using a Akai MPK mini instead of this?

  • I hope you guys got paid for this video. It made me want to drop a couple hundred on a KP...

  • Should try that with a mixer sometime for even more possibilities.

  • do you guys always play that close together? lol

  • I think it'd probably get more interesting if it was just one person controlling both, so that you were always working on exactly the same idea rather than having to memorise or figure out what the other person is planning on doing...

and if you had them chained so the output of one went to the input of the other.. then you can get into resampling in more complex ways, loop up to the 2nd one then switch loops on the first, layering effects live, etc. This is what I do but I dont just use kp3s
