WOAH your shamisen sounds awesome~ Is your shamisen artificial skin? I am getting a shamisen in the future and since I will be a beginner, I want something to learn on since I would not be able to trust myself with a natural skin shamisen.

Nice - but isn't Tsugaru shamisen usually tuned about a fifth lower than you're playing? I could be wrong, but it sound like you're using jiuta shamisen tuning....?

@NiTeMaReCuRe Hey thanks for the view/comment! I need to put a proper skin on my instrument and I can almost guarantee the sound would be much nicer. But tis a work in progress !

@Johnnybomb1 Thanks for the comment. I was testing out the built in mic on the headset for the iphone to record the audio just so I could better place the reception of the audio....but it really does sound a bit flat and twangy. I'll have to try something else next time!
