That's true, I guess.
There are lots of cheery "wait it out" vids already online. Yes, it's true; life is far better once you get out into the real world. Once you're out, you can find your real peer group instead of the idiots who happen to be your age in the location your parents live.
But telling suicidally depressed teens that they just need to wait it out is to miss the point entirely about what serious depression is like, and I'm not really one for platitudes.

I've been through the worst so far, suicide attempt in May and hospitalization. I'm doped up on antidepressants. Recently they've made me feel neutral at best. It's a rough patch, but I have my hope that through my choices I can make myself.
Thanks for the video. I identify with putting things off. Hygiene, sleep, phone calls, appointments, duties and work all succumb to my depression and lack of motivation.
I need to figure out when I will stop. It needs to get right.

I pretty much agree with this. I does get better but it can be really fucking grim before it does.
