  • Thanks for the answer. The whole video was very interesting. I'll try to get the puppies to make another appearance soon.

  • I am glad I could answer your question.

Can't wait to see the pups!

    Peace.

    John.

  • Kitten I know this will sound stupid but Im not jewish, but what exactly is a Rabbi and what is the job of a Rabbi?

  • Not a stupid question. Rabbi literally means "Teacher". There are many types of Rabbis. There are Rabbis who make sure food is kosher. And guys like me that are like pastors. I can marry people, start a congregation, etc. But, in Judaism, each is responsible for there faith and practice. Rabbis, are people who study the "Old Testament" and help with answering questions like the ones I did in my videos. Great question. Thank you.

  • It's interesting though, because from everything I have read, the original authors of the New Testament WROTE the books in Greek, not Hebrew.

The word for "Virgin Birth" would have had to been translated back into Hebrew from the Greek.

But that is what I have read... And who knows....

Thanks for the video. I knew you'd get a lot of emails, comments, & questions. When one talks of religion, comments & questions start to flow big time.

  • I didn't realize that so many people had questions like these? Sorry for coming off so strong. I watched the video and I feel bad that it looked like I was yelling at you. That was not my intent. I apologize.

  • @terabrat Uh, yes they did. Read the New Testament, it is well documented.

  • @andrewhillca The Jews did not ask the Romans to kill Jesus.

  • @Kittenkattan Rabbi is a scholar. Rav means great- someone with great knowledge. Rabbi's traditionally make judgments when there is a lack of clarity in the law. on Teacher is a "melamed".

  • when you said that at 4:04 I LOLed so hard!

  • The Jews were not allowed to kill anyone under Roman law, so they had to ask the Romans to kill Jesus. All of the gospels point out that Pontius Pilot did not want to kill Jesus. The Jews insisted Jesus be killed. The blood of Jesus is on the hands of the Jews. However that was God's plan and we shouldn't persecute the Jews for it. Today's Jews had nothing to do with killing Jesus. They are no more responsible for killing Jesus that modern Christians are for the Crusades.

  • Thank you. I also learned that what was called virgin was actually young woman. Also, I learned that Jesus being divinity was done with a show of hands about the same time that Sabbath was changed to Sunday and all the other paganism was adopted to become the "christianity" we are familiar with today.

..and the original followers of the way were considered a jewish sect.

He didn't come to destroy the law, he did keep the Sabbath and so did his followers, and he didn't come to cleanse pigs.

  • Yell away man it keeps attention span longer, but if that is yelling I would hate to see you calm! I think I would have to turn the treble all the way up.

  • Thanks!

  • Okay. I am going to PM you this because it would take up too many comments.

    Speak to you soon.

    John.

  • Cool a lot of my questions have been answered before i could ask them =)

    Thanks John im enjoying this.
