These White Sox unis look horrible, the ugliest I ever seen in my life. The 1972 uniforms were the best ones the Sox ever worn. Fact!!!

Man those uniforms were silly. I can't believe they used them for as long as they did.

You got that right. Damn Lamp gave up the TIE that night in 1983 when we had the lead to Clinch it. We always held our breath when he came in. Harold and Cruz saved his butt. Never thought they'd get that game in that night with the rain/storms. It was worth the Trip to see them. Eddie Farmer kind of irked me this year on the AM. Complaining about the attendance. Hey, Ed? We're all broke. I had to cheer from home this year. 2013..Go Sox!

You just had to list Todd Cruz on there. In 83 after Britt Burns pitched his guts out and Tito Landrum Homered. I had to watch in the press room as they handed the American League trophy to HIM and Gary Roeneke of the Orioles. They started singing "nah, nah ,nah" I left and sat on the ramp out the door while I waited for my brother to cover the rest of the interviews. Jock Florentine from Rockford TV saw me. Patted my shoulder and said, some day, some day...take it easy. Thank God for 2005 Sox

main reason :the brickhead mangler is gone.$30M reduction in payroll, yet the team is playing well, with great fundamentals/defense:#1-hitting the cutoff has saved countless runs this year.not beating themselves.the main problem:upper manglement let the whole thing go upside down the last 3 years.reinsdork vetoing kenny firing ozzie TWICE,very bad.then kenny with big bad contracts & a pisspoor mangler..they ALL needed to go.this resurgence, good, but still got problems that need fixing.
