For thousands of years those who chose for God have met with opposition. Persecution - whether big or small - has always been with us. Even today millions are suffering for the Kingdom of Jesus.
How is that true of us? How does opposition for Jesus' sake bring blessedness and joy?
@CASEwithscience thousand of evangelist WERE persecuted and became martyrs willingly. They were imprisoned and only God knows what thely really went through. If it werent for Christ, THIS nation would not have been established the way it did, with unalienable rights that cannot be taken away because WE the people have sovereignty as the creation of God

Honestly, what sort of persecution do your people ever meet?
Is having someone disagree with you persecution?
The prophets lived in a violent time when theft resulted in execution. No less, mad men that disturbed the peace and brought myths that contradicted the emperor's own cult would be executed. That wasn't persecution - it was the way of life.
The torture of Galileo, burning of Copernicus and general persecution of athiests by christians and muslims - that is persecution.
