You miss the point entirely. England doesn't have a parliament of her own to initiate legislation one way or the other for the benefit of its citizens. In a so called United Kingdom it shouldn't matter where the English want to study, but they shouldn't be penalised simply for being English. But we are not united.That is the only thing nonsensical about this. And of course the Scottish people are not to blame for an incompetent British/EU government.

Actually, Scottish students do have to pay tuition if studying in England. A quick Google search would confirm that.

Perhaps at least a few seconds of research should be made before making unsubstantiated claims to win over voters.

Scottish students do have to pay tuition fees to study in England. The Scottish Parliament didn't vote against student loans either. It's the same company which provides the loans to English and Scottish students.

At the time this was recorded the fees in England were about £3,300. So, his daughter should only come out with about £10,000 in debt, yet he is saying £15,000?

scottish parliament voted against fees, british parliament didn't and if scots study in england, they pay fees, you tard

@foxyfaefife Almost, The Scottish Government pays the British Government for Scottish students in England. So yes, they do pay but the student gets free education.
