Absolutely agree with you on the accents. I think that was about all this solo was missing was the realese of energy here and there.
His dynamic range also could have been a hair broader but very clean and musical performance.

Brilliant piece of drumming and very unlucky to come out on the wrong side of the tie. I cant help think if he put a bit more drama into it, really attack the accented beats, pull a few funny faces, dance about a bit, that he would have one. He is so composed that he doesnt look to be in the music, just a thought. IF i was the guy with the pencil I think I would have awarded him 1st

Well I know the strathspey is Susan Macleod, and I think the march is Balmoral Highlanders, but I might be wrong on the march... And I don't know the reel, sorry.
