Spiffy. I'm wanting to do special effects make up, so it's nice to see a glimpse of what I would be doing. I'm looking into taking courses dedicated to the make up, My fear is putting 30k+ into classes and not have all the skills I would need to have to work at Halloween horror nights, or any where for that matter.The make up the mask making etc. This is something I have wanted to do for years, it's my dream job. ^_^

Do it, I was completely self-taught until I got my first job as a mold maker. It was then when I got a great amount of on the job training. Although I would not recommend paying for school to learn the tricks of the trade. Many learning resources are available to you right here on youtube. In this field, a degree doesn't really do much, it's your portfolio that speaks for you.

Ok so if i want to make a mask i have to first mold the mask with clay then put that white thing on it then wait si its drys then puor latex in the neck hole

Ha ha, yeah pretty much. That's a simplified version of the process. The "white thing" is plaster.
