So after building a similar design myself, I've noticed that sometime the piston tape gets messed up because some pistons don't activate. Has this happened to you?

Nice design, I was trying to build one myself without looking anything up and it was horribly huge. I used a minecart counter and it was a mess. Then I thought I should try a piston tape counter, but found this video when searching for it. I like it a lot more then what I had planned. =)
