I am the dude getting into the ambulance. I had Second Degree burns on my left hand after grabbing a piece of hot metal that had a flaming blob of plastic on the end of it which was burning my deck, and tossed it off the deck. Quite painful but holding onto a cold beer bottle later that evening eliminated the pain :)

The male had a minor burn on his hand. I spoke to him before the paramedics arrived and he didnt seem too hurt.
