@lucky7slevan are you serious? the mag is probably the biggest achilles heel of any rifle using a stanag magazine and you wanna use that for stability? Also the XCR is extremely reliable. I've seen them buried in mud and they keep chuggin.

I recently bought a new XCR 7.62x39 and I extremely impressed and happy...over 400rds so far and next week I will test out the 5.56mm Conversion kit. On the bench with an EoTech XPS2-0 no magnification at 45 meters, after zeroing in I could nail a group around 1/2"-1". On my channel I posted the photo in a short 30 sec Vid. Its very accurate and you have to break it in for the 1st 200-300rds for the gas. DO NOT USE WOLF for the break in as suggested.

its shame their hand on the lower / mag is less stable and unless your stripping the mag for your reload (thats a slower way to do it), your not changing the speed whats so ever.

Lucky, I am in the military, and there is no benefit from a combat shooting perspective to keeping the support hand on the mag well. Many people do it because they are simply ignorant and don't know any better. And there is no change in reload speed either.

hand back towards pistol grip is a poor idea for practical shooting. Watch top 3 gunners, they all have their support hand far forward on the upper. Both of my XCR's have been rock solid.
