A lighthearted pitch for doing extended meditations retreats.
Fa-Yen was about to deliver a discourse to the monks. but, after he ascended the platform, he heard the twittering of a swallow outside the hall. "What a profound discourse on Reality, and a clear exposition of the Dhrarma" he said. He then descended from the platform and left the hall. (Old Zen Saying)
