@onlydepp Tim Roth is amazing. He has all the faces right, and down to a science just like Lightman. He knows how to convince the audience that he really is Cal Lightman and he really is detecting lies. It's amazing. Ever since I've seen this show, the bar for being a good actor/actress raised 10 fold in my eyes.

@meankittyfan34 There are a couple books written by the guy Lightman (the main character played by Tim Roth) is based one. His name is Dr Paul Ekman. Look him up. He's a consult to the show & also does a blog after eps, and will expose truths to the science you see in the show. Some stuff IS "short & sweetened" to some extent, but for the most part, 90% of what you see in true & scientifically based.
