∞ May Angels Lead You In [Scyppend Auditions]

This is my audition for the LMS contest. It's my first video that has a story. It's kinda unoriginal, but it's only my first one! xDD

EDIT: I MADE IT TO ROUND II OF THE LMS CONTEST!! :D

Now, for the story. ;)

STORY:

Tifa and Aerith are talking in Aerith's church one day, when Sephiroth walks in suddenly. Tifa immediately prepares for battle, but Aerith begs her not to, as she knows how powerful Sephiroth is. Sephiroth runs forward to attack Tifa, and throws her to the ground. As he is getting ready to strike the final blow, Aerith intentionally gets in the way of the sword, wanting to save her best friend. Tifa screams, "Aerith!" and shortly after, Aerith dies.

After this incident, Tifa refuses to go to Aerith's church. However, her mind continues to play tricks on her. She sees Aerith in crowds in Midgar, and her dreams are filled with images of her best friend's death. Finally, wanting to set her mind at ease, she goes to the old church. Instantly, she can feel Aerith's presence the moment she opens the doors. She wants to thank her friend for saving her life, but suddenly feels a hand on her back. Turning around, she sees Aerith standing behind her!

"The sky... it's beautiful," Aerith says. "Right, Tifa?"

Tifa feels guilty about letting Aerith die, and looks away.

"I never blamed you," Aerith assures her. Tifa looks up, and Aerith is nowhere to be seen. Thinking that her mind was playing tricks on her again, Tifa exits the church, returns home, and goes to sleep.

Once again, her dreams are filled with images of her best friend. But, Tifa can hear her own voice in her dream:

"You saved me... Aerith," Tifa says.
"Tifa," Aerith immediately replies. "That's what best friends do."

Upon waking up, Tifa finds herself back in Aerith's church. This time, she feels strong enough to thank her. Aerith assures her that everything is alright, and walks slowly from the church.
