@BarCodeDesigns designated cameras have wider apertures and a lot more space for element lenses, so it can very well take 11mp if it was designed to. But most cameras that are attached to other devices tend to promise it while giving crap quality because it's stretched to be as big as it said it would be. I'm just saying, a camera's quality is based on the picture's quality, not it's resolution alone.
