My "phenom" had hit 60 career HR's, but due to the fact that he played on three different teams during his first 10 years (including travel teams), he's now burnt out and hasn't played baseball in two years. I should pat myself on the back for letting him spend all his weekends on the road. Good going numb skulls.

i rember batting when i was his age the bad thing is i ended up hitting the ball at the pitcher opps but i still carry on with it but the other week i ended up breaking my hand because i caught the ball with my pitching hand the my catching opps(im a pitcher and fifth batter)

MRFUN, I'm with you...The kid is six, and anyone with a shred of common sense about baseball can tell that this was a well-hit ball (I am an umpire, BTW.). Some people confuse "spirit of competition" with "hubris".
Yeah, my son's almost four and I bring Mariano Rivera in to pitch to him (95 MPH) and my son hits long bombs off of him weekly.

My son was 6 last season and hitting home runs off a 42mph pitching machine. This video title was very misleading. Not the kid's fault, but c'mon people, get serious.

Hey ... I'm happy for you. It was just for fun - geez, you sound like a future PITA little league parent - I've seen hundreds just like you. So serious with your superstar kids. Yeah, mine heading is misleading and all for fun which is how he plays - loves having fun.
