  • The more I listen to your analogies the more impressed I am. I haven't read The Secret as I don't have an interest in the book. Thank you for making your focus on God the Creator as being the one and true way of enlightenment and fulfilment.

  • @JusticeinUnity

Thank you again brother. I appreciate your kind words and your friendship. We live in strange times. The Secret is one of the products of it.

  • i enthusiastically agree with most of what you're saying.

to my understanding, "The Secret," and those who wrote and produced it, are entrepreneurs selling materialistic philosophy (as well as solipsism and narcicism)...it represents and promotes an ideology which is the very antithesis of metaphysics.

i also studied cabala, as well as the major religious philosophies. aside from dogmas, eventually one comes to realize they're all saying essentially the same thing.

Very well said my friend. I agree with you, of course, and appreciate your feedback.

  • 'God the creator'. I agree that was one of the things I really didn't like that was left out of that book.

Unfortunatly we are living in a more secular or "anti-god"/science and technology type of world these days. I find it very disturbing how many people (espcially kids growing) don't want to believe in God or have no interest.

it is true, and many are in the age of reaction. they are reacting to the control of religion, reacting to the control of the male over the female. all is swinging too far away from the balance, but it will come back, and people will remember the balance and remember their Creator.

  • something started to bother me about "the secret" too. It doesn't bring people any closer to spirituality, enlightenment and the divine. "The secret" mainly feeds into the ego of people who want to be spiritual and have it all too. To people who envy successful people and think that their liberation will come through the fulfillment of desires based in manifestations in the outer versus understanding that true bliss is within.

  • Excellent Moshe, You address the service to self aspect very well. You clearly focus on the creator and do not dismiss the deceiver. Keep up the good work.

  • you don't know nothing fucking marihuana smoker

I agree with you completely. It is a very basic book and the movie is worse.

thanks for the book suggestion. I also heard it was good.

  • I found the book "The Secret" to be boring. For a lay person just getting into metaphysical concepts or the concept of "what we put out we recieve" and also visualizing what you, etc, then I think its great. But if you are a person who is already familiar with these concepts, then it is boring. (IMO).

Have you read "Think and grow rich"? A book written along time ago recently resurrected. (About Money). Thats a good book;)

  • I agree. It's both dangerous and overtaxing to people. It can also be more burdensome. What if someone does not "manifest" those he/she thinks of? In the back of the mind, it's possible that person would feel like someone's manifestation of that someone's thoughts. There must be God to solve this imbalance.
