Here we go kids - my big debut. In true YouTube style, another fine Steely Dan guitar solo ruined - the solo for Third World Man. Larry Carlton at his best on this one. Me (playing over him), maybe should rehearse it up more - or is life too short?

Would love to hear you rock out on one particular song (yes this is a request): "Morph the Cat" from Fagen's so titled solo album. It didn't have a hot guitar solo but needed one!

@ApparentlyNigel Thanks for your comments Nigel [presumably]. Yes, I do know Morph The Cat well. I wouldn't mind having a go at this (one day). I do think , however, that Jon Herrington's guitar solo on the title track ain't that bad at all. It's pretty good.

@rolluprob You're welcome and I stand corrected on Herrington's solo on "Morph." It's pretty hot but just down amongst the horns somewhere... Now If we could just get Don Fagen to bring in Angus Young or Noel Gallagher to mix his next album (haha)

I remember first hearing the album and just being blown away by the soul, the mellow groove and that ass-kicking guitar solo that is so shredding and yet sounds so effortless.
