@1996Kush1996 It never was. It was splashed all over the papers and TV at the time, and identified, with a TV reconstruction, within days. Whoever called it "top secret" is a loony.

@Chantmiss It's a refraction, not a reflection, the object is the tip of the tailplane (horizontal stabiliser), not the wing, and it was filmed from the rearmost passenger seat, not the cockpit. The year was 1966 - one out of four ain't bad. :-)

@TupacwuzaGorillaPimp I can't post links here. But this vid has been copied and retitled many times.. look up UFO sighting of huge mothership from airplane, for another copy. It's a trick with the sun and the tip of the wing. Notice it never moves. and always in right corner for the right lighting.
