Larry O'Donnell: I'd Bet Brazilian Wax If Roger Ailes Run For President!

When rumors surfaced that friends of Fox News President Roger Ailes suggested he run for President in 2012, Ailes debunked the possibility by declining, saying, "I can't take the pay cut."

In the wake of Chuck Todd's gaotee-shaving bet contingent on the Phillies returning to the World Series, This led Lawrence O'Donnell, substituting for Keith Olbermann, to tell Richard Wolffe that, "I was going to bet you that if Roger Ailes actually ran for President, I would get a Brazilian. Now, was there any chance you would have taken that bet?"

"Could you just give me a couple of seconds for my retinas to stop burning with that image," Wolffe appealed to O'Donnell.

Polls lie, don't you know that? TV ratings are based on TV's tuned to a certain program, not viewers. If a TV is tuned to FOX 24/7, FOX gets credited with 24 hours , even though actual viewing might have been considerably less . Get the point?

It might be a comedy show, but he takes pokes at the idiots at FOX, and rightly so. His commentary is spot on when it comes to the baised tales being reported as news on FOX.

Technically, even opinion shows that are on news stations are considered news shows by polling groups.

hey walter, I just faved a vid to my page of Keith claiming he has the #1 cable NEWS program. since his show is an hour long comdy routine though like you said I guess he was joking with his bizarre justification for making such a ludicrous claim

He will at times fight with Orielly over the ratings they have. But the competition is just between their programs, and sometimes NBC and Fox in general.

But I havent heard the claim that hes #1 "news" program.

Maybe #1 cable show, and technically, it would be considered a news show by ratings standards, so whether he cares or not, he doesnt get to choose how hes categorized.
