The OTHER Eb nocturne. This has always been my favorite. The singularly weird patterns in the harmony both breathe life into it and make it a bitch to learn, but Chopin is always worth the trouble, don't you find? Pardon my handful of little mistakes. Been a long day.

  • Well done! It's a great composition, though seldom played; probably due to the complexity of the left hand.

I've attempted it a few times, but lack the dogged determination it requires to learn the piece.

My hats off to you. Bravo!

  • Wow. I hope I can play like that some day.

    Something to aspire to =)

    Well done. I love it.

  • really agree with your description, "chopin is always worth the trouble"

  • This is a beautiful nocturne, and you've got a good feeling for the flow. Thanks for sharing.

  • This is very nice, thanks! I liked watching the fingering, as I've been considering learning this piece. Try making the climax more passionate with more rubato and dynamic variation. Inspiring video!

  • it's always been my favorite too!! but i never dared to play it... i suggested it to my piano teacher when i was 15 and she said "not yet" and ever since i've been too intimidated to try. but i actually really like the way you play it... not so common on youtube :)

  • Beautiful!
