This is my ABCD rap that I performed on Martin Luther King Jr. 's birthday in a church near Grant high school. In which I tell the audience about what it feels like to be a second generation immigrant growing up in the U.S. I am an ABCD(American Born Confused Desi). An Desi is anyone from Indian, Bangladesh, or Pakistan. They call the children of Desi's in the U.S. ABCD's because they are confused and a hard time assimiliating into American or Desi culture. This rap entails my experience to fit into on culture or another that I observed in the U.S. In the end I come to the conclusion that I am every culture blended in one, and at the end of the day I am American.
P.S. it was the perfect rap to perform for Martin Luther King jr.'s birthday.
