Thanks for the memories of my days as the Adjutant for an Army Battalion, and occasionally the Regimental Commander would have me act as Adjutant for Regimental Parades . As a 1st Lt. at the time, i enjoyed calling out "Report" to Captains , but as Adjutant you are acting for the Bn or Regt. Commander and they reply "all present and accounted for SIR"

It is that song. I am in the Marine Band and we play it at every birthday ball. We play the Adjutant's Call then go straight into the French Foreign Legion march.
