A short run around the St. John's East side during the tail end of the hurricane. Forgive my music inclusion here. There were personal conversations and other distracting things going on. :)

It seems like the most damage in St.John's was done to the trees from the wind. On the Burin and Bonavista Penninsulas roads were washed out, houses were flooded and cars washed away as well. People on Random Island are stuck there cause of the multiple road washouts and the only way in or out is by boat or plane.

@pcoristi we had a few power surges and spikes and stuff, but we never had a full outage. Personally, I rather a full outtage, as one of the surges blew one of my stereo speakers

Wow! The footage of O'Leary Avenue was downright frightening! And yes, I am a BSG fan...my husband thought that slip of the tongue just screamed 'geek' but I don't care.
Btw, we lost our power around 5 pm yesterday; just got it back about an hour ago, yay!
