@13froilan WRONG. the Philippines have different languages and not dialects.Bisaya, Ilocano etc. are langiuages and not dialects. They are are all unique. Dialects are regional variances of one language. Like for example the Tagalog in Manila is different from the Tagalog in Bataan, Batangas or Marinduque. In Manila they say "kanal" or "estero" in Bataan they say "Taguling." They are all Tagalog but the ones found in other provinces which sound a bit different are in fact dialects of Tagalog.

@Mosichane but the japanese song still sounded really pretty :)

@kkebbong707 I am sorry if I'll correct what you have posted...we only have ONE LANGUAGE and that's FILIPINO, but we have A LOT OF DIALECTS all over the archipelago...Correct me if I am wrong...thanks

@MrSuperpm1 there are between 120 and 175 languages in the philippines (4 of which are confirmed dead!), top 3 major languages are Tagalog, Cebuano & Ilocano.

I love them all, those Asian languages sound nice when being sung I guess..!
It will be quite different when during normal conversation.
But my fave
1. Indonesian
2. Filipino
3. Japanese
4. Cantonese
5. Thai
But it is more based on the singer's voice and the song, not based on the language....

CUTE SONGS :)

@skemmatixx like what MrSuperpm1 said, were talking about the versatility here and i think you are being biased just because you are malaysian. maybe your teacher there is using simple english just to make it clear to their students and to understand each other. it's a strategy you know, for those slow learners it's appropriate to talk to them in simple english for them to comprehend.

Filipino and Indonesian, I loved them! Austronesian languages are very beautiful.

@skemmatixx yes we use american english, there are alot of languages here in the Philippines not just 2,3 but i think more than 10 languages.. I know that singapore has a lot of people who can speak english very well.. but we talk about here the versatility of speaking other languages, here in our country we know how to speak spanish, chinese and dutch.. since every courses we have here requires to learn foreign languages before you graduate, even in our philosophy, we learn how to speak hebrew

@MrSuperpm1 i dont know about Philippines is the 3rd largest country that could speak very well in english, and 1st all over asia because all singaporean also can speak english... but singapore is a small country and in Malaysia, English is our 2nd language.. in Malaysia.. we use British English.. and.. Philippines is using American English right?
i think filipino is the best. plus the fact that they can speak different languages with correct accent. i'm russian and last time i check there is a university here which teaches filipino language. the korean version sucks, sounds like a drunk man,,,
