I live here! FOREVER!

Those ponderosa pines shown at the beginning of the video are part of a remnant "island" of ponderosas that inhabit the ridges of the Mt. Hamilton spur of the Diablo ranges that extend from the Livermore valley down to Pacheco Pass on Hwy 152. During the last ice-age they were more numerous on lower elevations but with the ice retreat and subsequent warming the pines were forced up high on the ridges to where they are now isolated to this "island".

...but you should really let nature sing, in the whispering pines

The planets is an interesting choice. A slide show of damages after the Lick Fire set this music would really be dramatic.

I know and like the music and the park, but together? Weird!

@sorcererexpeditions I find music always can add more to a scene of nature. Hopefully this weird combination inspires people to hike at this park. Can't wait to go back when the wildflowers spring up again. Look for you there :)
