Weird Maryland's weirdest destination: The dime museum once contained real and bogus exhibits just like traveling sideshows used to in the 1800s. But now, it's closed for good. RIP.

  • A little less than half of the original exhibits moved to a DC burlesque club called The Palace of Wonders. All of the exhibits in this slideshow were sold at auction about three years ago by Richard Opfer Auctions in Timonium, MD. I was there and discovered that one of the more successful telephone bidders was the stage conjuror David Copperfield.
