A Fine Mess- Chapter 1

Adeline POV:

To be cool as possible is what I've thriving for this year. I must not make a fool of myself this time.

We just got back from Thanksgiving break and let me tell you, it wasn't long enough. I never really had much time to sit. I was always everywhere.

Holiday time is actually crazy. I'm not sure why the school calls it a break.

I parked in the closest spot and got out, and I caught a glimpse of enemy number one.

Joe Jonas.

You might adore him. He's in a band with his brothers, Nick and Kevin. Nick is alright, I guess. I don't talk to him too much. And I barely know Kevin. He doesn't go to school anymore.

But Joe. I knew him really well. And truthfully, it's not a pleasure. The fan girls are better off not knowing him and fantasizing that he's a god guy and amazing kisser.

Because the the fact is ladies, he's not.

He's a pig and I've never met anyone else who was so greedy. He's never truly satisfied for over a whole 15 minutes and he's completely sexist. Another word with the letters s-e-x it is sex addict. Which I'm not 100 percent sure, but I know his an addict of getting girls into bed with him.

He sure sleeps around.

So I've heard anyways.

I walked into the school, getting a whiff of that school smell, books, paper, that so delish cafeteria food, sweat, and the mixture of too much perfume and cologne. High school kids always put so much of it on..

I walked to my locker, feeling content. I grabbed my math and French book and shut the locker door.

I felt someone slap my ass causing my books to fall and my head to snap in the direction of the culprit.

Carter Strument.

Someone who is either worse or equal disgusting as Joe Jonas himself.

He's just a jock really, plays football, and really who cares what he does on the team.

The girls love him, and yeah he's cute but he's not worth the time.

He will never settle with a girl. He'd laugh at the thought...or perhaps lie and tell you 'Sure I could settle down with you...' as he gets you in bed, and leaves right after he's through. Cause he wasn't lying...he said he could...he never said he would.

He thinks he's sly, but some girls see right through him...and that's not too many. I've seen so many times before, the girl tells herself she wont go there. She wont fall for him, get in bed with him. But she probably will. Because a guy like him gets what he wants.
