I don't get it. The perpetrators lost isk (2-4mil) on all the ships given away and each "noob" made like 12k from the default insurance, so lang as their skulls weren't full of implants. Noob clones aren't even very much. It's not like this was difficult either to brag about a great kill. I suppose it will bloat a killboard but that's about it.
