It's a running joke. Bill Hempel is actually a very nice guy, and pretty humble considering he outflies most.

Actually djkieo23, you are completely wrong! In flight school (real airplane flight school, not simulators) they teach you to land a tail dragger with the stall horn going off as you land. As you touch down the stall horn should be going off. But, good job being an arrogant 13 year old who knows nothing and only owns a simulator. And you are critiquing an incredible pilot, Bill Hempel, who has thousands and thousand of dollars to his name and many awards.

@djkieo23 its called a 3-point landing. its funny how your telling a guy with a 60% cub, a 60% extra 300, and like 12 other 40% or bigger planes how to land. I think he knows what hes doing. oh and check out the video of him landing with one half of a wing.
