  • Tina Sablan is a very respectful woman. I'm glad that she shows concerns toward the PEOPLE of the CNMI and not just the CHAMORROS and CAROLINIANS.we are all equal and that is the message she is trying to send. I am a proud chamorro, but i believe that it is NOT in our culture to bash other races and it is NOT in our culture to think that we are better than other people. Greg has proven himself to be a racist. EVERYONE KNOWS!..TAO TAO TANO is racist. that is why i don't support that organization.

  • we don't blame you for calling Taotao Tano racist, to our view, we stand for our poeple but, to your view, we are racist.

  • inipus malate na si Tina. taya respituna i palauan para i tano na espiatmienti i taotao tano.

  • Si Yu'us ma'ase para i komprendiyon mu'nu esti na palauan. Mampos hoben ya na'hasso na gaigue giya sanlagu.

  • the tao tao tano movement is a good one... the indigenous people of the Marianas need to show their concern for what goes on in their homeland and stand up when they know it isn't right and that's what they've done. Tina Sablan is right about creating dialog in the community. How are we to know what the local people want if they do not step in and talk? and communicate? how are we to persuade our government into doing things for us indigenous people?

  • There is a difference between racist, bias, and prejudice. I belive Taotao Tano is bias in so many ways, but I understand that because they witness their culture and traditions fading away day by day, generations by generations. I also do not believe they are racists. There are different definitions. So, be aware of the termenologies you use. They are bias (which is normal FOR MANY PEOPLE), but they are not racists.

  • If you are PRO Chamorro culture, then BE pro Chamorro culture. Prove yourself. Start PROMOTING the Chamorro culture instead of bashing other cultures. That's the point I'm trying to get across. What's YOUR point?

  • Let me translate: All the money grabbing, nepotists can no longer do no work for good salaries, and expect to be re elected just because of thier surname,Taotao Tano seem like a good organisation that is trying to protect the local indigenous people of the CNMI as they should,Tina Sablan sounds like a concerned individual who would like transparency in Govt,i do not agree with issue of granting residency to foriegn workers however there is room in any democracy for differences of opinion.

  • Let me translate for you Mr. Cruz..."support my open government initiatives. I really want your organization to fail because i totally disagree with you. I think you are a illegitimate voice of the locals and you are a retarded organization. You should stop speaking for your people." I hate this lady more than hillary.
